We can only dispense prescription medicine on receipt of your original prescription issued by an Australian registered medical practitioner. We cannot:
Dispense faxed prescriptions; the State Pharmacy Act requires us to have the original prescription before the pharmacist can dispense any script.
Dispense any item which has to be refrigerated. For example, all vaccines and injections including insulin, can only be dispensed for personal shoppers only.
Dispense Narcotic prescriptions: The State Pharmacy Act regulations allow us only to dispense prescriptions written by S.A. doctors for whom we know the patients and doctor. We can do these for personal shoppers known to us.
